What excites you most about joining Gustavus Adolphus College?
The opportunity to give back to the place I love so much. I was lucky enough to grow up on campus, as my mother was a professor in the Math department and I also graduated from Gustavus in 2015. I love Gustavus and can’t wait to help students learn and grow the same way I did!
Briefly describe your professional interests.
Clinical exercise physiology, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, nutrition, and electrocardiography.
What aspects of teaching do you find most rewarding?
Seeing the passion for learning in students and facilitating the deeper dive into what fascinates them.
What are you looking forward to exploring or engaging with in the Saint Peter community outside of your academic work?
Exploring the local landscape with my children, Anders (3) and Linnea (2 months). I look forward to sharing my love of the lakes and rivers with them the most! I have also coached girls diving at Mankato East High School for the past 6 years and can’t wait to begin another fall season.
