Ursula Lindqvist presented a paper, “Reimagining History: Denmark, the Virgin Islands, and New Orleans, ca. 1917,” on the Denmark and the Black Atlantic panel at the 2016 Society for the Advancement of Scandinavian Study Annual Meeting. Lindqvist also chaired a panel on “Whiteness in Print and Digital Media” at the 2016 Society for the Advancement of Scandinavian Studies Annual Meeting.
