Phillip Voight (Communication Studies) presented a paper at the University of Stirling on April 8 entitled “Shopping in the Age of Trump: Polarization, Negative Partisanship and Commodity Activism,” and another paper in Glasgow at the British Association of American Studies on April 10 entitled “Confronting the Fascist Turn in American Politics: Teaching Students to Over-Code Missing or Inaccurate Historical Information.” He presents a paper on instructional podcasting at the Central States Communication Association on April 16.
