Kathy Lund Dean and her colleagues presented a paper at the OBTC Teaching Conference for Management Educators entitled, “Just because we can doesn’t mean we should: Ethics in experiential learning.” In the paper they make the argument that moving from passive to active learning techniques requires specific skills that are rarely taught and supported, and this represents a significant ethical issue when facilitating activities with students. Finally, Lund Dean and her co-editor for the Journal of Management Education have been re-appointed to another term, extending through 2021.
