Angelique Dwyer published her creative non-fiction story written in Spanglish entitled “My Brother the Mexican” in the peer reviewed online journal PORTAL: Journal of Multidisciplinary International Studies, Vol. 14. Number 1 (2017) edited by renowned academic Paul Allatson. This piece is part of a collection of short stories under the same title, all of which deal with the process of identity negotiation between two siblings. Angelique hopes to continue publishing the remaining stories and present them as performance pieces in future conferences.
