    Mayra Taylor (Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures) was selected as the 2022 recipient of the Provost’s Award for Teaching Excellence. Presented each year at the final faculty meeting, this award recognizes a Gustavus non-tenure-track faculty member for significant contributions to teaching and learning.

  • Shu-Ling Wang, 2022 Mansergh Faculty Scientific Research Award Winner

    Shu-Ling Wang (Economics and Management) was selected as the 2022 recipient of the Mansergh Faculty Scientific Research Award. Presented each year at the final faculty meeting, this award recognizes a Gustavus faculty member for an outstanding peer-reviewed publication that contributes to the scholarly achievement and reputation of the faculty and the College.

    Michael Wilson-Becerril (Political Science) received the prestigious Outstanding Academic Title award from the American Library Association for his book, “Resisting Extractivism: Peruvian Gold, Everyday Violence, and the Politics of Attention.”

  • Faculty Spotlight: Jill Locke

    Jill Locke (Political Science) appeared in a KEYC News story about this week’s Supreme Court leak about Roe vs. Wade. Locke is also expected to appear on WCCO Radio on Sunday evening to discuss the leak and what it will mean if the decision comes to pass.
