What excites you most about joining Gustavus Adolphus College?
I’m not sure I’ve ever met a Gustavus graduate who didn’t love their time in St. Peter. I’m excited to join a faculty that routinely makes strong and impactful connections with the students.
Briefly describe your professional interests.
I’m mostly interested in the power of movement and how it can enhance one’s life.
What aspects of teaching do you find most rewarding?
I most enjoy when a lesson lands cleanly and effectively for the students. I relish the process of starting with the end goal(s) in mind and building something that will get the students where I’d like them to be.
What are you looking forward to exploring or engaging with in the Saint Peter community outside of your academic work?
I’m excited to get to know some of the K-12 teachers in the area. Classroom visits and observation will be a meaningful part of my program, so establishing a good rapport with standout local educators will be important.
