Faculty Spotlight: Stephanie Otto

Stephanie Otto ’00 (Health and Exercise Science) served as faculty advisor for students who presented their research at the Northland American College of Sports Medicine conference in Mankato: Avery Rowen ’25, Lillian Selberg ’25, Darius Howad ’25, Jacob Coulimore ’25, and Lauren Miller ’25. The research was titled, “Physical Activity, Sedentary Behavior, and Influencing Factors among University Employees.” These majors presented their research at the National Conference of Undergraduate Research Pittsburg, PA: Micah Gundale ’25 and Kyle Heffron ’25 presented“Effects of Wim Hof Breathing Technique on VO2 Max and Heart Rate Recovery,” and Gavin Stodden ’25, Peighton Lynskey ’25, Lauren Mass ’25, and Conner Wiberg ’25 presented “Effects of Low-Dose Caffeine on Time Based Academic Performance.” Mollie Taft ’25 presented “Effect of Multitasking on Reaction Time and Balance.”
