Sharon Marquart (Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures & Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies) served as a panelist for a discussion on “Female Voices: On Progress, Setbacks, and Oppression” hosted by the Alliance Française Minneapolis-Saint Paul. The event was part of the nationwide “Night of Ideas” sponsored by the French Embassy in the United States and included leaders of local non-profits and presses as well as post-secondary educators from the Twin Cities area.
