Faculty Spotlight: Kathy Lund Dean Posted on January 8th, 2021 by

Kathy Lund Dean (Economics and Management) had two articles appear at the end of 2020. The first, titled “Premises, promises and perils of the Academic Potemkin Village,” was published in Management Learning, and argues for leveraging collaboration and consortia in higher education as one solution to financial distress. The second, titled “Experiential pedagogy and the moral duty of business schools,” was published in the Academy of Management Learning and Education, arguing that experiential teaching requires unique skills due to the emotional engagement of students, and advocating for a community of practice among experiential educators.
