Marian Frazier, Tom LoFaro, and Carolyn Dobler (emerita) published the paper “A Cross-Discipline Modeling Capstone Experience” in the journal PRIMUS: Problems, Resources, and Issues in Mathematics Undergraduate Studies. The article discusses the MCS Department’s January Interim Experience capstone Mathematical Modeling course and how it exemplifies curriculum guidelines set forth by the Mathematical Association of America and the American Statistical Association.
