Mary Westby (Athletic Training) attained Instructor Trainer certification through the American Red Cross. Mary currently teaches many First Aid/CPR/AED basic and advanced level classes and workshops on campus. This new certification will allow Mary to certify other instructors for the American Red Cross. Mary will be primarily offering this to the Master of Athletic Training students in their second year, giving those students added value to future employers and an alternative revenue opportunity in their careers. Mary will have opportunities for others from the campus community to join instructor classes.
