Darsa Donelan (Physics) co-authored an article in the Spring 2025 issue of The Earth Scientist titled, “A Heliocentric Pedagogy: Sun-Anchored Science with NASA HEAT.” The article presents two innovative classroom activities: using images of solar mass ejections to teach linear motion, and exploring the role of magnetic fields in storing and releasing energy through solar flare data. Darsa co-authored the piece with fellow team leads from NASA’s Heliophysics Education Activation Team.
