Elizabeth Baer (English, retired) gave an invited lecture for the Center for Holocaust and Jewish Studies at Penn State, Harrisburg, titled “German Genocide in Africa and the Third Reich: Imperialism, Race, and Sexual Violence.” She drew from her book, The Genocidal Gaze, as well as research conducted since its U.S. publication in 2017 and Africa publication in 2018.
