Kjerstin Moody (Scandinavian Studies) had her scholarly article “Situating Lukas Moodysson’s Vad gör jag här” included in a book of interviews and essays, part of the box set of six of Swedish filmmaker Lukas Moodysson’s films. The article was originally published in 2014 as part of a special edition on Moodysson’s work as a filmmaker and writer in the peer-reviewed scholarly journal Scandinavica. The box set, released in February by London-based Arrow Films, also includes, as a bonus feature, Kjerstin’s translation (into English) of Moodysson’s 2001 book-length poem Vad gör jag här [What Am I Doing Here]. Of the six films included in the box set, Kjerstin recommends Moodysson’s Tillsammans [Together]; its sequel, Tillsammans 99 [Together 99], is set to premier this year.
