Michele Koomen, Lizzy Schutz ’16, and Ali Hoffman ’17 presented a paper at the Association of Science Teacher Education: “Practices of Science and Developing Scientific Explanations with Independent Student Directed Science Fair Projects.” Koomen also published an article: “Inclusive Science Education: Learning from Wizard” in Cultural Studies of Science Education. In addition, she and colleagues at the University of Minnesota have published an article: “Disciplinary Literacy in the Science Classroom: Using Adaptive Primary Literature” in the Journal of Research in Science Teaching.
