    Erik Gulbranson (Geology) and Morgan Mellum ’23 presented their research results at the annual GSA meeting in Portland, OR as a poster titled: “Paleoclimate-induced stress on polar forested ecosystems prior to the Permian–Triassic mass extinction.” Gulbranson also presented a talk titled: “Late Permian soil-forming paleoenvironments on Gondwana.”
