Ursula Lindqvist (Scandinavian Studies) gave a public lecture “Denmark in Global Cinema,” at the 78th annual Danebod Folk Meeting in Tyler, Minnesota, on Aug. 28. The gathering draws participants from multiple states and is inspired by the Danish folk school movement founded in the 19th century by N.F.S. Grundtvig, an influential Danish pastor, author, poet, philosopher, historian, teacher, and politician. She was invited to speak by Pastor Megan Eide ’19 of Danebod Lutheran Church.
