    Carlos Mejía Suárez (Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures) published the English translation of his novella “Antonieta of Many Names”, on December 2, 2025. The novella follows the life of early Twentieth Century Mexican intellectual, art promoter, writer, and political activist, Antonieta Rivas Mercado. The novella is available in Kindle, Apple Books, and Amazon.

    Lisa Heldke (Philosophy) gave a talk (online) for the Department of Philosophy at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, on November 20, World Philosophy Day. The talk, entitled “Stuck on You: Thinking Parasitically,” explored themes in her new book, Parasitic Personhood and the Ontology of Eating.
