Valentini was selected in conjunction with an Andrew Mellon Foundation grant supporting Whittier’s effort to expand the liberal arts of organizational leadership. Valentini’s lectures included “Let’s Make Sport Really Matter,” and “Moral Development in and Through Sport.”
